Three different kinds of information
- Provider claims: statements from a service catalog or terms page, attributed to the provider.
- Verified profile details: facts checked against documented evidence, with a dated source.
- Measured outcomes: results from a described test, including service ID, quantity, cost, dates and limitations.
Proposed scoring model
Order reliability 25%; retention and refill 20%; support 15%; price-to-quality 15%; delivery speed 10%; usability and API 10%; security and payments 5%. These are proposed weights, not scores assigned to any current listing.
What a test report must show
Record the selected service, advertised terms, order cost, start and completion times, observations at defined intervals and any support interactions. Report failed and partial orders, not just successful ones. Explain whether unrelated activity could have affected the measurement.
Missing data is not a passing grade
A price without a billing unit or a retention claim without a measurement window is not comparable evidence. We leave unverified fields clearly marked and do not calculate an overall score from incomplete inputs.
Commercial independence and ownership
CompareSMMPanel and BuyTheFans share ownership. BuyTheFans is visibly labeled as owner-affiliated. Paid placement must be marked and does not purchase a better score. Current directory order is not a quality ranking.
Corrections
Owners can prepare a correction request with the affected page, the incorrect field and a supporting source through our panel-owner submission tool. Ownership verification alone does not establish service quality.
